When you visit our website, data is automatically generated, stored in so-called log files, and – if necessary – processed. The data collected includes, among other things:
These log files are generally stored for a period of 3 weeks and then deleted.
We delete personal data as soon as it is no longer required for the original purpose of collection. If data has been collected based on your consent, we will delete it immediately upon revocation, unless legal retention periods prevent this. Contact data collected in the course of communication will be stored for the duration of the business relationship.
Cookies are small text files that store basic information about your website visit – similar to a digital visitor badge. We use essential cookies necessary for the operation of our website (e.g., via our CMS WordPress). Additionally, we use cookies to offer you personalized features – always with your consent via our Cookie Consent Banner.
Through this banner, you can individually choose which cookies and external scripts (e.g., from social media or video platforms) are activated. Please note: blocking cookies may limit the functionality of certain web features.
Our website is secured with a valid SSL certificate from Let’s Encrypt – essentially a safety belt for data traffic. This means your data is transmitted in encrypted form (indicated by “https://” and the padlock icon in your browser) and is protected against unauthorized access.
To analyze user behavior, we use the privacy-friendly tool Plausible.io (EU-based). This tool does not use cookies and only collects anonymized data (e.g. IP address in anonymized form, user agent). For further details, please refer to the data policy of Plausible.io.
We use Meta Pixel (formerly Facebook Pixel) to analyze visitor behavior and run targeted advertising. The pixel collects data about your interactions with our website – such as which pages you visit or what actions you take. For more information, please refer to Meta’s privacy policy.
To support our advertising activities, we use Google Ads. This tool allows us to collect data to measure and improve the success of our ads. Cookies may be set in this process, and usage data may be processed. For details, please refer to the Google Ads privacy policy.
To evaluate the success of our advertising campaigns, we use conversion tracking. This process records when and how visitors convert after interacting with our website (e.g., through bookings or contact requests). The data collected helps us target and optimize our marketing activities. In some cases, third-party tools are used for this purpose – please refer to their respective privacy policies.
Our website provides various forms for booking (via external providers, see next section) and contact (Elementor Submission Forms). These forms collect personal data (such as name, email address, message, etc.) to process your inquiry or booking. The data is transmitted via secure connections and stored only as long as necessary for processing your request. Data is shared with third parties only when required to fulfill our services.
We also use an external booking tool provided by our partner “Urlaub am Bauernhof” via Seekda hotel management software. In this case, the data necessary for processing your booking is transferred to our cooperation partner to ensure smooth and efficient handling. Please note that the privacy policy of the respective cooperation partner applies when using this tool.
To display location information, we integrate Google Maps. When using Google Maps, data (e.g., your IP address) is transmitted to Google. This data processing is carried out in accordance with applicable data protection regulations. For more information, please refer to the Google Maps privacy policy.
To integrate social channels, we embed content from Instagram and Facebook. However, this content is only activated after your explicit consent – via the consent management tool Borlabs Cookie.
Until consent is given, no data is loaded from the respective platforms. For further information, please refer to the privacy policies of Facebook and Instagram.
